This article is for anyone who wants to find out who owns a property in Davis County, or look up the details of a parcel. Property Search is free, and you can search by address or by parcel number.
Agree to the Terms of Use
The first time you open Property Search, it asks you to agree to its Terms of Use.
The Terms of Use window

- Select I agree to the Terms of Use (1).
- Select OK (2).
Search by address
Find the property

- In Search, at the top right of the map, start typing the address (3). Matching addresses appear as you type.
- Select the address you want (4).
Read the owner and parcel details

The map zooms to the property, and a popup shows the owner, the mailing address and the parcel ID.
- For more detail, select View Parcel Detail (5).
See tax history and valuation

This example is a county-owned building, so its taxable value is $0 and its tax figures are blank.
- Select Tax History (A) to see the property tax for each year, or Valuation (B) to see the market value and taxable value for each year.
Available Documents
The Available Documents panel on the parcel detail page lists recorded documents for the property, with a price for each. Buying documents isn't covered in this article.
Search by parcel number
If you have the parcel number, you can search with it instead of the address. The parcel number is on your tax statement.
Search with the parcel number

- In Search, enter the parcel number without dashes, for example 070310028 rather than 07-031-0028. Then select the matching parcel number (7).
The map zooms to the property and shows the same popup as an address search.
