Using the Property Watch Dashboard

This article is for Recorder's Office staff who use REDI to keep track of Property Watch signups and alerts. It explains what the Property Watch Dashboard shows, and how to confirm a signup for someone who didn't receive the confirmation email.

The names, email addresses and parcel numbers in these pictures are samples, not real registrants.

Open the dashboard

In REDI, select Dashboard in the menu on the left. The Property Watch Dashboard opens.

Signup totals and trend

The top of the Property Watch Dashboard, with the Signup Trend chart outlined

The tiles at the top show Total Signups, Verified, Pending and Verification Rate.

The Signup Trend chart (outlined) shows signups, verifications and pending signups for the last 12 months.

Confirm a signup for someone

Pending Verifications lists everyone who has signed up but hasn't confirmed their email address. Use Pending, Verified and Signups above the list to switch between lists, and Search to find a registrant.

Pending Verifications

Your view depends on your REDI role. If you don't see Verify, ask your supervisor about your REDI access.

  1. If someone didn't receive the confirmation email, select Verify on their row (1).

The confirmation message

The Confirm message, with callout 2 on Confirm and Cancel outlined

  1. Check the email address, owner and parcel number in the message. Then select Confirm (2). Confirming attaches the email address to the owner record and starts sending Property Watch alerts to it.

Nothing changes until you confirm

If you selected Verify on the wrong row, select Cancel. The signup stays pending.

Check that alerts were delivered

Notice Delivery

The Notice Delivery section, outlined, with its totals and list of notices

Notice Delivery shows the recording alerts Property Watch tried to send for each parcel. The totals at the top show how many were sent, skipped and failed, and the percentage delivered. Each row shows the parcel, owner, email address, recording date and status. For example, Skipped – no email means there's no email address on file for that parcel.

To find a parcel, type its number in the search box at the top right of the section.
